​Role on the Board: Chairman

Occupation / Interests: travel, cycling, kayaking, photography and people, semi retired from a career in the travel industry 

Interest in Grief Support Services: I believe that Grief Support Services does great work in the community and I'm passionate about about its growth and continuation to assist those who need this special service.

 Introducing Eddie Jackson

 Role on the Board: Treasurer

 Occupation/Interests: Retired after having been a senior manager for 30 years, most latterly as CEO/GM of the Midland and  Central regions of St John. Originally qualified as a Public Valuer prior to joining the ambulance service. I have an MBA (with  distinction) from Waikato University and am a member of both NZ IoD and NZ Institute of Management. My interests include golf,  travel and development of people in business.

 Interest in Grief Support Services: I believe in the value of the services provided by Grief Support Services. I am happy to make  my expertise available to ensure a financially sustainable organisation and a great place for staff to work. I also have positions on  two other organisations in Tauranga - St John area committee and am Deputy Chair of Age Concern Tauranga both of which  operate as health support agencies.

Role on the Board: Board Member

Occupation / Interests: Assurance and Compliance Specialist at Trustpower. I enjoy yoga, gardening, biking and golf.  

Interest in Grief Support Services: Grief Support Services offers a unique service to the community.  The counsellors are professional and dedicated to helping people through grief, whatever the cause. The service is not found anywhere else in the community. I am happy to support the staff, students and volunteers in any way possible.
