Corona virus / Covid 19 Lockdown Period

 

We are living in strange and fast-changing times and Grief Support Services is adjusting the delivery
of our Services accordingly.

During this period of lockdown we will be offering counselling sessions via skype or zoom. We will
keep in touch with clients by phone, text and email. You can contact us by leaving a message on 07

Suicide Bereavement Support Coordinator, Tauranga:  

Counsellor or Registered Health Professional        


Grief Support Services is a not for profit organisation committed to serving the community by providing counselling to people whose lives are affected by grief and loss.   A specific area of our work is with people bereaved by suicide.  We are now extending this service.
This new position requires an experienced practitioner who is not only skilled in providing effective counselling but makes good connections within the community/hapori whānui and has the energy, skills and passion to set up new services.

Offering community support in all areas of loss & grief.

We offer subsidised counselling to individuals, children and families/whanau whose lives are affected by grief and loss. This may be due to a loss of a loved one or from circumstances that have caused change that is difficult to manage.

Grief Support Services has been working in the community since 1987..  We are located in Greerton, Tauranga and serve the Western Bay of Plenty region.   All clients are equally important to us.  We welcome everyone.
